stayed land?

Our story

It started with
a piece of land.

Lungs of Earth didn't start in a boardroom.

It started with a simple opportunity: a piece of natural land that could be bought.

There were plenty of things that could be done with it. The land could be changed, used or developed.

But there was another option.

Nothing.

Leave the trees where they are. Let water continue to find its own way. Let the landscape remain a landscape.

That raised a bigger question:

What if protecting land could become as normal as developing it?

Lungs of Earth grew from that question.

Three beliefs

  1. 01

    Nature doesn't always
    need improving.

  2. 02

    Protection should
    be tangible.

  3. 03

    Trust should
    be visible.

The idea

Land usually gains economic value when something is done to it.

Lungs of Earth explores whether leaving land natural can itself be something people choose to support.

Usually

Land → change → value

Here

Land → land → value
